Why do you consider your style photojournalistic?
Imagine candid glances and somber embraces. Affectionate touch and soft laughter. Intimately surrounded by family and friends. These raw emotions from your wedding day can only be captured in an unobtrusive and hands-off style. This is photojournalism for me. Telling a couple's story. Sharing the couple's "real" moments. Being a participant in the emotion. Creating their story through pictures. A couple's wedding is an expression of their personal style, friendship, and love. Simply said, "I love telling stories!"
What sets you apart from other photographers?
I pride myself on the fact that I am an artistically motivated and caring person. I capture true emotion. I am a constant observer of light and its different colors and shapes. My images have dialogue and viewers can relive each moment from your wedding day and see a story. My commitment to this business is my full time job.
How do you keep your style and technique fresh?
I have made it a goal to photograph everyday. Whether it's a study on light or a subject observation, each day I take my camera out and photograph. I think it's important to exercise your artist eye like you would your body. Stretch your boundaries and try something new. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve. I also enjoy networking with local photographers and artists. We share ideas, critique, and offer support to each other.
What are your prices and packages?
Packages start at $3,600. For detailed information on our packages, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you shoot with film or digital?
I shoot digital full time. In very rare instances I will shoot film but this would be discussed with the client. Yes, the argument of film and digital can be long and tedious, but for my personal preference, I like the ease and workflow of digital shooting.
Do you use a second shooter?
A second shooter is included in all packages. Extra eyes, extra images, extra perspective. This option adds to your coverage!
Why should we do an engagement session?
Having a photo shoot before your wedding day is a great way for us to learn more about each other and become comfortable in front of the camera. Couples become familiar with my shooting style and have a better understanding of my technique. It's also fun to get out there and have a "date night" and have it captured in photographs. Why not get dolled up and enjoy being the center of attention with your future spouse? It's fun!
Do you have more photos/slide shows to view?
Indeed I do! Keep up with my most recent photo shoots by checking out my blog. I update it weekly.
Do you offer referral incentives?
Indeed we do! The best way to show your gratitude for our services is to refer your family and friends. Know someone getting married? Send them our information and when they sign their contract, you'll both receive a $200 credit towards prints or a wedding album.
