Emerald and cooper, classic lace, and good music tie together this gorgeous fall wedding.
Mandy and Phil are one of the most down to earth couples I have had the pleasure of working with. I have worked with Mandy’s family in the past when I photographed her sister Tiffany’s wedding back in 2009. The Grass family is so kind and they truly made me feel like “one-of-the-crew”. They are so hospitable and man do they know how to throw a party! This family loves one another and it shows. That love is an honor to be around and even more so, makes photographing them the most fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
Mandy and Phil will married at Grace Church in Old Saybrook and celebrated their wedding reception with family and friends at the Saybrook Point Inn and Spa. An October wedding that boasted rich autumnal colors and details of the season including pumpkins, “candy bear”, trees and wooden accents, and sharp bold green tons that pop amongst the warm tones throughout the fashion and decor of the day. And this school teacher paid homage to her craft with chalkboards in her centerpieces! So cute!
Congratulations to a great couple on your new beginnings and much love to a family that loves big and celebrates even bigger!
In the photo below, I wanted to point out the iPad on the couch behind the mirror. Mandy was Facetiming with her sister as she was getting ready because she wasn’t able to travel and be there for the wedding. It was so incredibly sweet to see her include her in that way!
